The first eco gym club opened its doors in mid-September 2005 in the upper class neighbourhood of Alto de Pinheiros, in São Paulo. The gym club operates on captured rain water and solar enegy systems. All the water from the swimming pools is treated with ozone. The concept behind this initiative is to treat the body conditioning as part of a well-being cycle that cannot leave behind the environment issues. The gym also has a restaurant with organic food operating for its clients.
